Party City

I haven't been in a party city in a min and this was my first time visiting this one. I was not greeted upon entering. The store was a mess. I don't remember them not having costumes like this, I thought costumes were a yr round thing for them. I would say if you are looking for basic stuff, mainly by color, baby shower, wedding, candy, Christmas, balloons, and new years stuff then maybe visit this place but they didn't have any of what I was looking for. I wouldn't bank on them having a lot of costume options. I was looking for 70s,80s, or even 90s, (work event) Snow White stuff (Disney trip) but they didn't have much and what they did have a saw for cheaper online! So don't wait to look for costume stuff banking that this Party city will have what you need... or if they do have it, the sizes and prices are crazy compared to online. Spirit of Halloween, Amazon, or even dollar tree for some the decor they had would probably be a better option.

At first glance, the store looks organized and nicely priced- until you get to the register to pay. Walked up expecting to pay around $18 based on the prices listed on shelf, walked out paying over double. Nothing is in the correct place, although it looks so. On the left, $4 from Popshelf. On the right, $6 (listed as $1) from Party City. PopShelf has bigger and better quality, so you can clearly see why $1 would be a reasonable price for Party City's. Sales clerk was friendly, but we won't be returning.

I have ordered from the Party City on Skibo 4 times over the last few months (4 major events, today a smaller cheer event) and paid for same day delivery/tip charge. EVERY single order I’ve received has been wrong. Today topped the cake when I got all the wrong color balloons. I called the store as our major event is in 45 minutes only to tell me I need to drive 30 minutes to their store to get a refund for the balloons I didn’t receive. To make it worse, they put me on hold for 15 minutes (last time it was nearly 40!) in hopes I’d just hang up. I 100% know it was was not true that I needed to return to the store (again, 1 hour round trip and I have 4 small children/my event is in 45min) bc in the past - all THREE other WRONG orders they had to refund partially over the phone. My company (that our family owns) also does large business with Party City but we typically pick up when for that so we can make sure the order is right (it often isn’t). We will never do business with them again. This is THOUSANDS of dollars every year… terrible customer service.

Price tag says 11$ and as you can see they cover the whole shelf so a customer ain’t just throw it there the woman says she couldn’t honor it so then it false advertisement then and she was rude bout it most retail places usually do the right thing give it to u the price that is advertised. I more than likely won’t shop here again !
